Amelia Island Mixology Tours
On Friday, July 1st and Saturday, July 2nd from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. you can participate in a mixology tour in historic downtown Fernandina Beach. The tour has four stops, and during each stop guests can enjoy unique drinks and learn about the history of each bar and the area. Participants will also be able to vote for their favorite drink, and tickets cost $45.00 per person for the full tour.
Adult Twilight “Fireworks BYOB” Cruise
On Monday, July 4th at 8 P.M. you can enjoy a special cruise designed for adults offered by Amelia River Cruises & Charters located on 1 North Front Street in Fernandina Beach, FL. This cruise will include music some of Fernandina Beach’s top musicians and gives you a chance to relax and enjoy incredible fireworks viewing on the Cumberland Sound during the evening of the 4th. Tickets are $28 each and you can purchase them ahead of the event to ensure you get a spot.
Family Friendly “Fireworks 2 Hour” Sunset Cruise
If you’re bringing the family along, you’ll have another option for a great relaxing cruise also offered by Amelia River Cruises & Charters. This event offers a great way to see the fireworks with your family while getting a short history of the area. It’s highly recommended to reserve your spot for this one, and tickets for adults are $22 while children are $16 each.
Sounds on Centre
If you’re on Amelia Island on Friday, July 1st, you can enjoy the free Sounds on Centre event that will be held on the intersection of Second and Centre Street in downtown Fernandina Beach on the north of the island. The show will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and will include raffle drawings as well as prizes donated by local businesses.
Fireworks Display in Downtown Fernandina Beach
On the 4th of July around 9:30 P.M. there is an annual fireworks display held in downtown Fernandina Beach. You’ll also find vendors, live music, games and other entertainment in the area. So be sure to stop by, and the festivities in downtown Fernandina beach normally start around 6:00 P.M. on the 4th of July, depending on the weather and schedule.
